If you are interested in a walking tour then we can arrange for a licensed tour guide to accompany you at the archaeological sites. Anna, Athanasia (Nancy), Michael (Michalis), Gregory, Theodora, Panagiotis, Georgia & Yiota are willing to share their knowledge of the Ancient Greek civilization and the modern life of Greece with you. All tours are private with a very flexible itinerary.

**Please note that walking tours are recommended to people that are in good physical condition because they involve a fair amount of walking.

      From April 1st to October 31st: Acropolis [20 Euros], Acropolis Museum [5 Euros], Greek Agora [8 Euros], Roman Agora [6 Euros], Temple of Zeus [6 Euros].
      From November 1st to March 31st: Acropolis [10 Euros], Acropolis Museum [5 Euros], Greek Agora [4 Euros], Roman Agora [3 Euros], Temple of Zeus [3 Euros].

      • Lunch. We can recommend good restaurants.
      • Gratuities. Gratuity rates in Greece are about 10% of service cost.
    • Confirmation
      Please send us an E-mail and you will be asked to fill in a reservation form. Once you fill in the form you will receive a confirmation E-mail with instructions. Please print it and have it with you during the tour. Reservations made during the week will in normal circumstances be confirmed within 24 hours. Confirmation of reservations made during weekends or public holidays, may however take slightly longer. If for any reason you do not receive notification please contact us.
    • Cancellation Policy
        • Full refund if cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the agreed date and time.
        • No refund if cancelled within the last 48 hours prior to the arrival date.

      Please note that all alterations or cancellations should be made via E-mail. Of course, if for any unforeseen reason the ship does not dock at the port then there will be a full refund.

      • In case of not being able to find the guide, please contact the emergency number that appears on your E-mail.

      If you want we can arrange for a vehicle to drive you to the meeting point at an extra cost.

    Half Day Walking Tour 1: includes a visit to The Acropolis (where you will see the Temple of Parthenon which is dedicated to Athena Parthenos, Propylea which is the monumental entrance to the sacred area, the Temple of Athena Nike which is dedicated to Athena-Apteros Nike, the Temple of Erechtheion which is dedicated to Athena Polias, the Cariatides, Herodeon Theater, the ruins of the Theater of Dionysus, Areopagus [Mars Hill]), a beautiful pedestrian walk along the Dionyssiou Areopagitou street and finally The Acropolis Museum. Duration 4 hours.

    Half Day Walking Tour 2: includes a visit to The Acropolis (where you will see the Temple of Parthenon which is dedicated to Athena Parthenos, Propylea which is the monumental entrance to the sacred area, the Temple of Athena Nike which is dedicated to Athena-Apteros Nike, the Temple of Erechtheion which is dedicated to Athena Polias, the Cariatides, Herodeon Theater, the ruins of the Theater of Dionysus, Areopagus [Mars Hill]), The Greek Agora (which was the civic, religious and commercial centers of the Athenian life set with appropriate buidings like the Stoa of Attalus [now, since its restoration, is used as a Museum housing interesting findings] and the Temple of Hephaistus), and The Roman Agora (where the Tower of Winds stands [which is an octagonal pentelic marble clocktower]). Duration 4 hours.

    Half Day Walking Tour 3: includes a visit to The Acropolis (where you will see the Temple of Parthenon which is dedicated to Athena Parthenos, Propylea which is the monumental entrance to the sacred area, the Temple of Athena Nike which is dedicated to Athena-Apteros Nike, the Temple of Erehtheion which is dedicated to Athena Polias, the Cariatides, Herodeon Theater, the ruins of the Theater of Dionysus, Areopagus [Mars Hill]). A beautiful pedestrian walk along the Dionyssiou Areopagitou street until you reach The Temple of Zeus (which is the largest ancient temple in Greece in the Corinthian order), The Hadrian’s Arch, and The Panathenaic Stadium (also known as The Kallimarmaro; the original stadium built in the 1863 for the first modern Olympic games in 1896). Follows a nice walk through The Zappeion Hall, and you will finally visit The Old Palace, The Tomb of The Unknown Soldier & The Changing of The Guards. Duration 4 hours.
